Batelco Gets The Go Ahead For Kingdom's Lowest ADSL Tariff

Bahrain's fixed-line operator Batelco has had its low cost BHD10 broadband package finally approved by the Telecoms Regulatory Authority (TRA). As with many countries in the Gulf states, Bahrain's high broadband prices and lack of competition have led to a stagnant broadband market, not in line with other segments in the market, such as mobile, which reflect a highly mature operating environment.
