Telenor Pushes Forward Pakistan Investment Programme

The entrance of Telenor and Warid Telecom in 2005 to Pakistan's mobile market immediately sparked off huge growth equating to a 330% y-o-y rise that year. Growth over the first six months of this year is at about 50%, and we project there to be over 40mn mobile subscribers by the end of 2006.
