High-Speed Growth In High-Speed Internet For Chile?

The big news in Chile, Latin America's most developed telecoms market, is triple play, with incumbent operator Telefónica CTC now offering satellite digital TV services to rival the triple play offering of VTR. CTC's broadband subscriber base exploded in H106 with 105,000 net additions, spurred on by the marketing of bundled services and mid-June launch of digital TV. Although BMI believes at least some of the growth came from subscribers to whom digital TV had been marketed prior to launch, we have nevertheless made upwards revisions to forecasts.
