Peruvian Ministry Raises Investment Expectations

Peru's Ministry of Communications has doubled its predictions for investment into the country's telecoms sector for 2006 to US$450mn, after it authorised the roll out of network projects to cover rural areas, in addition to seeing the entry of Telmex Peru's plans to compete in the residential market.
