Reliance Confirms Key Mobile Operator Status
March 2006 | Company Finance AlertShortly after announcing fiscal third-quarter profits of INR3.1bn on revenues of INR33.27bn in December 2005, Indian mobile phone operator Reliance has made its debut on India's stock exchange. Valued at US$8bn, Reliance has made it into one of India's largest 15 companies and has become the second most valuable mobile operator, behind Bharti, which has a market value of US$17.5bn.
