Estonian Mobile Market Exceeds Expectations

New figures released by the Estonian regulator revealed that growth in the mobile market had exceeded BMI's previous forecasts. Penetration now stands at 107%, expected to rise to over 140% by the end of 2010. Growth has been driven by the launch of 3G services by market leader EMT in October 2005, which helped it outperform its rivals once again. The mobile market was also boosted by Tele2's decision to halt its fixed line services in order to concentrate on its core mobile
