Foreign Interest Growing In Saudi Licence

Two companies have been named as front runners in the auction for Saudi Arabia's second fixed line and third mobile operating licence. Kuwait's Mobile Telecommunications Company and Egypt's Orascom Telecom Holdings were named, amongst those interested, while regulatory body, Saudi Communications and Information Technology (CITC) spokesman Ibrahim Kadi has said that several more foreign companies are also interested in bidding, although they have as yet to be
