Telecom Egypt To Ditch Vodafone For Telecom Italia

Telecom Egypt is to take a gamble and see whether its decision to enter as part of a consortium with Telecom Italia for Egypt's third mobile licence pays off. This would mean that the Egyptian operator would have to relinquish its 25% stake in the country's second-ranked mobile operator Vodafone Egypt.
