Bezeq Seeks Extra Revenue Through VoIP Service

Israel's incumbent operator Bezeq has finalised the deployment of its VoIP solution over its network. The operator's VoIP offering arrives at a time when broadband services are expected to slowdown, given that over 65% of households throughout the country already have access to such services, second to global leader South Korea with 75%. Similarly, Israel's fixed line rates are gradually falling with the market set to lose an estimated 400,000 users between 2006 and 2010.
