Hondutel May Have Found A Lifeline

Honduran state telecommunications company Hondutel has revealed that a number of parties have shown interest in investing in the company, including Israeli LR Group, the US' Rhino and a Guatemala-China consortium, Fideco/Datang Mobile. It revealed it needs to secure at least US$500mn to keep afloat, and as a result is actively seeking foreign investors. BMI believes it is encouraging that so many parties are interested, and the consortium has the most promise to save the company from financial collapse.
