Russia-based telecoms giant VimpelCom announced impressive results for Q212, underpinning the success so far of its rapid expansion over the past three years. The operator reported an 83% year-on-year (y-o-y) rise in net profit and a 2% y-o-y EBITDA growth, despite a 4% decline in organic revenue during the same period.
