Chinese Firms Target Booming IT Services Market

Brazil's rapid economic and industrial growth has been accompanied - even partly driven - by a significant expansion in the country's ICT services and infrastructure needs and capabilities. Brazil has become the pre-eminent Latin American hub for ICT services and solutions and is likely to become one of the leading global IT hubs within a decade. Multinational organisations have rushed to locate key facilities and service centres in cities such as São Paulo. They will now be joined by two key Chinese ICT players, which see considerable global and local investment opportunities, and are establishing a presence in this US$30bn market.
