Qatar And Bahrain Spectrum Allocation To Address Wireless Broadband Needs

In March 2012 the telecoms regulators of Qatar and Bahrain, The Supreme Council for ICT (ictQatar) and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), revealed policy details for radio frequency allocation to boost wireless data services. This development bodes well for the broadband markets of both countries, but only in the medium- to -long term, based on the regulators' timetables or lack of it.
