Is Russia Saving NSN?

Russia's VimpelCom has awarded a five-year contract to Finnish-German equipment manufacturer Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN). The contract covers the company's fixed-line, mobile and fibre infrastructure in the central region and is the second contract for NSN with a major Russian operator. After several difficult announcements over the past few months, a major deal with VimpelCom is very good news for NSN and BMI's positive outlook for Russia's economic future suggests it could become a key market for NSN.
