Russian Operators Head EastMay 2012 | Company News Alert
Russia's four largest telecoms operators MTS, VimpelCom, MegaFon and Rostelecom will partner to build an 8Tbps submarine cable to connect Russia's Far East region with Sakhalin Island. The cable will cost RUB2.4bn (US$77mn) and will reach approximately 2,000km.
