Hesitation From Tata And Vodafone Over CWW Bid

Vodafone and Tata are hoping to push back the bid submission deadline for Cable & Wireless Worldwide (CWW). Citing a lack of information on the company, neither bidder is willing to submit an offer before the March 29 2012 deadline. BMI believes this hesitance bodes ill for CWW, which made a GBP590mn loss in H1 2011/12 on the back of mounting costs and declining fixed-line services.
