Dell's Latest Acquisition A Wyse Move

Dell has agreed to acquire Wyse Technology in order to bolster its expertise and product portfolio in the enterprise cloud computing services and applications market. Specifically, Wyse's product portfolio will round out and expand Dell's desktop virtualisation capabilities while also integrating with and enhancing Dell's existing enterprise solutions, such as servers, networking, storage and services. BMI believes this latest acquisition will allow Dell to provide a more comprehensive cloud solutions portfolio and position it to compete more effectively with rivals such as Hewlett-Packard, IBM and Cisco Systems.
