Deployment Issues Hinder Greater Fibre Growth

Coverage for Singapore's Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (NGNBN) has reached more than 90% of homes and businesses, and the company responsible for the deployment, OpenNet, believes that it is scheduled to reach its promise of 95% of all Singapore premises by July. However, the process has been far from smooth with several issues hindering greater service adoption. We believe that the regulator could step in if the situation does not improve.
