Saudi Arabia's largest consumer electronics retailer, United Electronics Company (eXtra), has reported a 34.7% increase in net profit for 2011. The company's Q411 sales increased 36.3% as eXtra opened seven new stores and reported steady growth in consumer products such as smartphones. BMI's forecasts for strong growth in consumer electronics demand bode well for eXtra's plans for continued growth.
