Emerson Network Power, a subsidiary of global manufacturing and technology firm Emerson that supports telecoms systems, data networks and other critical business applications through power conditioning and reliability and environment control, announced in October that it will participate in Malaysian IT service provider Teliti International's project to build the largest green data centre in Asia. Demand for sophisticated IT services in Asia is rapidly increasing, which would fuel the growth of data centres, particularly those incorporating green technologies as companies look to reduce energy costs and take environment responsibility.
