Telekom Austria Group To Target M2M Through Dedicated Subsidiary

Telekom Austria, the Austrian incumbent with interests across CEE, has launched a dedicated M2M subsidiary. Telekom Austria Group M2M will work on the development and marketing of M2M services. The creation of a dedicated subsidiary is designed to enable Telekom Austria to take advantage of the rapid growth expected in M2M communications. BMI believes the creation of a dedicated unit for M2M improves Telekom Austria's competitive position, but it faces challenges in providing international connectivity of sufficient quality.
