DTAC's 3G Launch To Carry On In Spite Of Uncertainties

Thailand's Total Access Communication (DTAC) consolidated its second-ranked position after the mobile operator reported positive Q211 results with revenue and net profit growing in tandem with subscriber growth. While we foresee the company's near-term growth prospects continue to be hampered by legal issues partially triggered by the 3G agreement between CAT Telecom and True, we expect DTAC to persevere in order to tap into the opportunities presented by higher-speed data connectivity.
