Government In The Cloud

Bahrain's Central Informatics Organisation (CIO) has contracted the US' EMC for the consolidation and virtualisation as the organisation moves towards cloud computing. As the organisation responsible for promoting IT adoption across the country, the CIO appears to be leading by example, moving to cloud computing solutions to lower costs and improve efficiency. BMI believes the CIO will be first of several government bodies to seek IT solutions that reduce costs, encouraging companies in the country to follow suit.
