Kickstart Or Crash: PCCW Set To Launch LTE In UK As Early as 2012

PCCW's UK Broadband subsidiary has confirmed reports that it is planning to roll out an LTE network in H211 that will be operational in 2012. The launch could give the operator as much as a two-year head start on the established mobile network operators. BMI believes the potential 2012 launch would give LTE service development much-needed impetus, but we consider PCCW's service model to have serious limitations.
