Friendi Targets Jordanian 3G Launch, Regional Expansion
May 2011 | Company News AlertJordanian mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Friendi has announced plans to begin offering 3G services to its customers before the end of 2011, using the network of Zain Jordan. The company, which launched in July 2010 and had attracted approximately 100,000 subscribers by the end of 2010, is keen to take advantage of the growing demand for high-speed mobile broadband and value-added services in a market that BMI forecasts will expand very rapidly over the next five years.
