Aspiro Announces Increased Revenues And TV Tie-up With Telenor

Aspiro, a vendor of hosted TV and music streaming services, has announced its financial and operating results for Q111, reporting 26% y-o-y revenue growth to SEK64.5mn although it continued to report loss after tax for continuing operations. Aspiro also announced an expansion to its agreement with Norwegian operator Telenor to meet the operator's plans for expanding its TV and video services. BMI believes that Aspiro is well positioned to benefit from a converging trend in consumer electronics and network infrastructure with the growth in tablet devices and smartphones, as well as investments in high-speed mobile networks.
