Ofcom Proposes Changes To Wholesale Prices

Ofcom has proposed new prices for Openreach, the wholesale access division of BT, changing what it can charge communications providers for access to some of its wholesale telecoms services. Ofcom expects its proposed prices to lead to real-term price reductions for consumers. BMI welcomes the move to reduce wholesale prices, as we share Ofcom's expectation that price cuts will be passed onto consumers and do not believe the move will negatively impact investment levels.
